McClellan: President Bush Is Above the Law
Dateline Washington, DC - April 8, 2006
As the investigation into the Plamegate CIA Leak continues,
it is becoming apparent that there is nothing too rediculous
for Scott McClellan to say to reporters.
"President Bush did not tell Scooter Libby to release
the information at the center of this investigation,"
McClellan said, "He merely told Vice President Cheney
that he should do it."
McClellan went on to ask why this has become such an issue,
and that it should be apparent by now that President Bush
is "above the law".
"I mean really. If the wiretaps and the illegal war in Iraq
didn't show you people this, why would you be outraged over
something as silly as Plamegate?" McClellan continued, "Of
course he's willing to sacrifice Cheney for this. Have you
even SEEN Dick Cheney in months? If it wasn't for the whole
shooting thing he wouldn't have shown up at all. Even if
Cheney does get the boot, like Michael Brown, or Karl Rove,
he'd still be running the show out of sight of you sheep."
When asked about the announcement, and reminded of
President Bush's statement in September of 2003 that, "If
anyone in this administration was involved in it, they
would no longer be in this administration." Vice
President Cheney responded that he and the President
would be taking some time at an undisclosed Texas
ranch to discuss the issue and possibly do some quail
hunting. He closed the statement by telling the assembled
reporters to, "go fuck yourselves".
Indeed, this issue seems to be gaining steam in the minds
of Americans. At least those who don't take their news
from Fox.
For Waldo News Network, this is Dick Tatorship reporting.
