Birkhead Wins Custody of Smith Estate
Dateline Bahamas - April 10, 2007
In a not-so-shocking turn of events, Larry Birkhead was declared the father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby, Dannielynn. The results were released today in a Bahamanian courtroom. An overjoyed Birkhead cheered on the media and assembled onlookers outside.
"I've always had faith that the truth would show in the end," Birkhead said, "I am glad this is over, so that Dannielynn can have the life she deserves, and I can continue to love Anna's money. I'm sure that's what she would have wanted."
Not everyone shared Birkhead's enthusiasm; however.
"We can only hope that this ruling is reviewed, and that there is no shadow of doubt," said Wolf Blitzer of CNN, "I'd hate to think that I have to go back to reporting on politics or world events. Has anyone talked to Smith's mother yet? Certainly we can get her to drag this thing out."
