Ahmadinejad to Bush: Do you like me? Check Yes or No.

Dateline Tehran - May 8, 2006

In a shocking development surrounding the ongoing tensions between Washington and Tehran, President Ahmadinejad sent President Bush a letter today, as an attempt to bring a peaceful end to the diplomatic standoff.

The letter, kept short, said "Do you like me? I like you, check one: Yes, No".

In response, Secretary of State Condi Rice issued a statement to Iran, saying that the letter "...is not the place that one would find an opening to engage on the nuclear issue or anything of the sort." She later expanded on this statement saying, "...really the only engagement we are interested in is one that leaves a glass parking lot to park our Hummers on while we drill for oil."

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, however, believed this to be wholly untrue.

"Really, what we have here, is Condi being jealous of George. Its no secret here, she's been telling everybody, that she finds Mahmoud cute, especially when he's eating paste. I wouldn't be surprised if she's just upset that he didn't ask her to share his animal crackers."

President Bush issued his own statement late this evening, saying that while he is flattered by the note, he would not meet Ahmadinejad under the monkeys bars during recess.

For WNN, this is Kinde Garten reporting.
