Bush Visits Dunkin' Donuts to Talk Immigration

Dateline Alexandria, VA - July 6, 2006

President Bush visited a local Dunkin' Donuts yesterday to discuss the growing immigration crisis in America. In a scene typical of his early campaign moves, he talked with employees of the chain, and the day's customers, trying to drive home the issue with the "common man".

The day did not begin without some commotion, however, when members of the store's cleaning crew mistakenly took the President and his security for immigration. As his entourage entered, the cleaning crew could be seen fleeing out the back to screams of "La Migra!", in a mistaken belief that the INS was raiding the building. After order had been restored, and the crew gathered back in the building, Bush began illustrating that his plan is not to deport the hard-working immigrants.

"We cannot kick people out who have been here for awhile... [they] should be treated with respect and dignity," Bush said, adding "now, watch this dunk."

After dunking the glazed donut in his coffee, President Bush then sampled the pastry and declared, "That's muy muy bu-eno." Then violently choked and hit his head on the table. He was promptly hustled outside, and was said to be alright.

For WNN this is Mmmmm Donuts reporting.
